Specialty: General Practice
Special Interests: Women’s Health including family planning and coil fitting, Sexual Health, Child Health and anticoagulation management.
After qualifying from Bristol Medical School in 1994, I gained my Membership of The Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) whilst providing acute medical care in Bath. I continued hospital based medical and intensive care provision whilst working in Australia before returning to the UK in 2000 to undertake my General Practice training. I consolidated my training in gaining Membership of The Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2002.
I joined Brook Green Medical Centre as a partner in 2002 and have led development and delivery of contraception, anti-coagulation, immunisation programmes and ante natal & post-natal care provision.
My medical practice focuses on the individual, their personal and family circumstances. I enjoy delivering care personally, offering an open and receptive style of consultation.
My background in both general practice and hospital care, as well as being a mother of 2 young children, provides multiple insights to help address individuals’ health needs.
